Candidate skills & requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related area (Business, Engineering, etc.) or 6 years related experience.
• At least five (5) years' experience in production processes, machinery, and equipment related to sheet metal fabrication, plastic forming technology, foam and adhesive/upholstery assembly, welding applications, and/or metalworking technology.
• At least two (2) years supervisory experience as a supervisor and/or superintendent in similar related work.
• Must have experience maintaining a flow schedule of parts through the shop.
• Planning experience a plus.
• Must have thorough knowledge of managing (working with people) through effective communications, utilizing basic principles of leading by example, taking the initiative to make things happen, maintain constructive and good relationship with all employees (at all levels), at the same time showing self-confidence and maintaining self-esteem of others.
• Must have thorough knowledge of all aspects of the manual machines, N.C. machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and processing of stainless steel, aluminum and other materials.
• Must know how to sustain parts flow through the shop in a timely, economical manner producing a quality product.
