We are currently seeking a Project Manager to support the planning and execution of office construction, tenant improvement (TI), and relocation projects across Eastdil Secured's U.S. portfolio. While also supporting projects that align with the advancement of the Facilities team.
This role will partner closely with Director of Workplace Services, Facilities Managers, and Infrastructure Managers along with external project teams to manage the full lifecycle of office buildouts, from design coordination through construction delivery and occupancy. The Project Manager will focus on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with firm standards.
Essential Functions
  • Leads, manages, and supports strategic Facilities Projects focusing on office buildouts, tenant improvements, and renovations for the firm leveraging a "white glove" approach
  • Coordinate with landlords, architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure successful project delivery from design through construction and occupancy
  • Review and track construction drawings, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Support RFP processes, bid evaluations, and vendor selection for construction and related services
  • Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain schedule and budget adherence
  • Conduct site visits, punch walks, and final inspections to ensure quality and completion standards are met
  • Assist in managing change orders, cost tracking, and project forecasting
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders across the organization (e.g., Management, Human Resources, Finance, Risk & Vendor Management, Legal, Technology, etc.)
  • Leverage a business development approach to help draft and inform strategic plans that optimize operations across our core functions
  • Clearly communicate timelines, deliverables, goals and expectations with team members and stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication among project participants to expedite project process and resolve issues and problems
  • Prepare presentation items for meetings and share meeting notes.
  • Document and promptly follow-up on any important decisions or action items made during meetings, then follow-up with any necessary parties who are assigned responsibilities to drive the project forward
  • Maintain confidentiality, work in a fast-paced environment, make informed decisions, and work independently and efficiently with accuracy in high pressure situations

Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of construction-related project management preferred
  • Direct experience with Waterfall methodology

  • Advanced understanding of the platforms, processes, and procedures deployed by the Eastdil Secured Facilities team

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, and multitask to meet deadlines

  • Tech-savvy and excellent computer skills. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams), SharePoint, Adobe, Zoom, ChatGPT, Claude, and other project management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, ProCore, etc.
  • Ability to develop presentations that convey critical information, contextualize decision points and drive alignment
  • Understand scheduling techniques, estimating, change management, risk management and progress reporting methods
  • This role requires project-dependent travel, estimated at approximately 20-40% annually. Travel may vary based on project phase, meetings, and business priorities. Travel may include same-day and overnight domestic travel, with occasional international travel as needed.
