Job description

Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation seeks a dependable, quality-conscientious Assistant Project Superintendent with well-balanced skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and a minimum 10 years' construction experience for a multifamily apartment development in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The Assistant Project Superintendent will be responsible to provide overall administrative and technical management on a multifamily construction project site. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety required.

  • Must have extensive wood framing experience (multi-family preferred), be proficient at reading drawings and interpreting specifications, managing a workforce, and communicating clearly.
  • Experience with construction project management software required.
  • OSHA 10 hour safety training, first aid/CPR training required.
  • Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, desire to learn and work independently and in a team atmosphere.

Working conditions: on-site construction office and active construction site.
