Builtech is currently seeking Assistant Project Manager ready to join a fast-paced and growing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the Project Engineer team across all active projects
  • Provide onboarding, training, and professional development for new Project Engineers
  • Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and goal setting for the team
  • Ensure Project Engineers are effectively managing RFIs, submittals, drawing logs, and procurement logs
  • Oversee consistency in Procore (or other project management software) use across all projects
  • Enforce company procedures for submittals, RFIs, change management, and closeout documentation
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents to confirm that field requirements are aligned with documentation
  • Act as a liaison between Project Engineers, Project Managers and Management
  • Provide consistent reporting on Project Engineer workload and performance
  • Identify Project Engineer assignments for new projects

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and proficiency in the following computer software systems: MS Office, MS Project and preferably, Procore
  • Leadership skills including self-awareness, time management, positivity, assertiveness, delegation, negotiation, and organization

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time
  • The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers
  • The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
