Envision Glass Company is a leading subcontractor specializing in glass and glazing, storefronts, curtainwall, and custom metal. Based in Manassas, VA, we have built a strong reputation in the commercial construction industry through teamwork, proactive project management, and high-quality installations. With our own in-house glass fabrication and tempering facility, we deliver superior results while maintaining control over schedules and costs.


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the project management team from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to grow their career in the construction and glazing industry.


Requirements:

Duties & Expectations


Pre-Construction

  • Review shop drawings to confirm scope and details are properly covered.
  • Check product cut sheets to ensure they match specifications (reviewed by PM).
  • Prepare and submit submittals; track through the approval process.
  • Assign job numbers in Paylocity for labor tracking.
  • Complete job setup files in TRUE; keep files current and organized.
  • Maintain TRUE dashboard including milestones and task statuses.
  • Complete safety forms and LEED documentation as required.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings with the PM or in their place when needed.

Procurement

  • Prepare purchase orders for hardware (reviewed by PM).
  • Submit orders to vendors and track progress.
  • Follow up with vendors for ship dates.
  • Inspect deliveries to ensure all material is received and organized.
  • Track and follow up on back-ordered hardware.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project job files.

Construction

  • Confirm timely delivery of materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly billings.
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and communication with project stakeholders.
  • Participate in site visits and provide on-site support as needed.

Post-Construction

  • Assist with project closeouts, punch lists, and final documentation.
  • Coordinate warranty work and follow-ups.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with construction documentation and processes.
  • Experience with project management software (TRUE, Bluebeam, Procore preferred).
