FICS Administrator
Location: Remote
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced FICS Administrator to support a major loan servicing system conversion initiative. This role is project-based and focused on preparing the FICS environment for a servicing portfolio merger by moving two FICS instances into a single instance. The ideal candidate will provide additional support for administrative duties related to the conversion and will be capable of contributing immediately to data merger activities, reporting enhancements, system configuration, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support all FICS-related activities associated with the servicing portfolio conversion.
  • Assist with data validation, data mapping, reconciliation, and merger preparation efforts.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to identify and resolve conversion-related data issues.
  • Modify, create, and validate operational and management reports within FICS, using the Pentaho reporting system.
  • Configure and administer system settings, including administrative roles, to support conversion requirements.
  • Create testing protocols for releases and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), conversion testing, and defect remediation.
  • Analyze servicing data to ensure accuracy and completeness before and after conversion events.
  • Validate system integration from both instances into the one single instance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders during project execution.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering the FICS loan servicing platform.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting servicing system conversions, portfolio mergers, or large-scale data migration initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage servicing data, including loan-level servicing records, escrow, investor, and reporting data elements.
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, UAT, conversion testing, and defect resolution.
  • Experience creating, modifying, and validating FICS reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mortgage servicing industry experience.
  • Prior involvement in FICS conversions or portfolio acquisitions.
  • Experience with alternative platforms such as LoanServ or Fiserv may be considered.
  • Experience supporting servicing transfers, boarding activities, and data integration projects.
  • Experience working within conversion workstreams.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced conversion environment.
