Position Overview

The Construction Project Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, including tracking expenses, managing budgets, preparing invoices, analyzing costs, and collaborating with project teams to ensure financial goals are met. Job Costing & Expense Management
  • Review all recorded project costs, including labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead.
  • Ensure complete and timely recording of all project-related transactions.
  • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing project expenses.
Customer Invoice & Purchase Order Preparation
  • Support the process of preparing and submitting accurate customer invoices, based on project progress and contractual terms.
  • Assist in vendor purchase order preparation, working closely with project executives and managers to ensure timely procurement.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate regular financial reports, including profit and loss statements, variance analysis, key performance indicators, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyze financial trends and project data, identifying risks and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing financial insights and recommendations to project teams and senior management.
Change Order & Contract Management
  • Track and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and financial impact analysis.
