Location: El Dorado, KS
Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Job Purpose
The Jr Scheduler will be responsible for assisting Production Schedulers in providing Production and Manufacturing with a daily schedule of items for production. This position would also work with Schedulers to assist in day to day activities to develop, review and maintain schedule and capacity with department supervisors to ensure customer requirements are met.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
  • Help create and manage work orders for Production and Manufacturing.
  • Review inventory raw materials against present and future work orders as needed.
  • Participate in daily production planning meetings.
  • Running and reviewing MRP reports, short reports, stocking level reports, etc.
  • Review any inventory discrepancies with the Inventory Dept.
  • Provide back up to the Production Schedulers when needed.
  • Provide daily and weekly updates to management.
  • Work closely with purchasing and planning departments to ensure raw material availability.
  • Analyze production and manufacturing capabilities and requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining schedules for the facility, reviewing daily to adjust for changes in customer requirements, delay in raw materials, availability of production and manufacturing equipment, etc.
  • Review order activity to determine production/manufacturing needs.
  • Will work overtime as needed.
  • Must follow strict safety rules.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • One (1) to three (3) years' experience in manufacturing, production, and/or planning strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
