Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE Please note: applications will be screened and candidates will be interviewed based on an-going basis. This recruitment can close at anytime when the hiring needs are met. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the locker rooms.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED These duties are performed under the supervision of the Pool Manager or Assistant Pool Manager and will require that the individual be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Examples of Duties: Responsible for the orderly cooperation of the locker rooms. Care and maintenance of the locker rooms.

Enforcement of departmental regulations. Communication with the public over the telephone and in person. Knowledge of: Appropriate locker room behavior.

Maintenance of locker rooms. First Aid practices. Ability to: Enforce departmental regulations.

Communicate effectively. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: No experience required. AGE:16 years of age and older.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Must be submitted no later than the date of hire to the Human Resources Department. Application and Selection Procedure: All completed applications will be reviewed as received and those considered most qualified will be invited to participate in an appraisal interview.

Appointment: All employment offers are conditional based upon the successful completion of a medical examination, which may include a drug screening, reference and background check. All new employees are required to take a loyalty oath.
