Payroll Specialist / Payroll Administrator 

Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Required During Payroll Cycles
Pay: $25/hour to start


Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist / Payroll Administrator to support high-volume payroll operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience; however, candidates with strong administrative, data-processing, or accounting support experience may also be considered. This position requires exceptional accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage changing priorities while consistently meeting strict payroll deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 100–300 employees
  • Enter, review, verify, and maintain employee and payroll information
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee files and records
  • Track and update payroll-related information using Microsoft Excel
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Assist with payroll reports, audits, reconciliations, and verification
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies as needed
  • Handle sensitive employee and payroll information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Provide additional payroll and administrative support as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Strong administrative, accounting support, or high-volume data-entry experience considered
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with numbers and reviewing information for accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet firm deadlines

Schedule Requirements

  • Must be available to work every other Sunday during payroll processing
