Job description

We’re looking for a Package Handler Lead to join a dynamic, growing operation in Bethel, PA in a brand new warehouse facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity earning up to $23/hour for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading by example, and helping a team hit daily production and safety goals.

About the Role
The Package Handler Lead plays a key role in supporting daily dock/sort operations—helping oversee the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution. This position works closely with Sort and Operations leadership to train new hires, support performance metrics, and reinforce a safe, positive, team-first workplace.


Pay Rate: up to $23.00/hour


    Schedule:
    Various shifts available (details provided during the screening/offer process)


      Key Responsibilities

      • Supervise offloading and sorting of incoming packages for distribution and/or prepare outgoing freight for delivery
      • Train package handlers/sorters to perform assigned tasks safely and accurately
      • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members (positive reinforcement and corrective guidance as needed)
      • Inspect packages to ensure they are safe and secure for truck transportation
       

      Requirements

      • High school diploma or GED preferred
      • 1+ year of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
      • Ability to regularly lift/push/pull/move 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
      • Must be at least 18 years of age
