Assistant Optometrist Receptionists are professionals who work in optometry offices or eye clinics, providing administrative and customer service support. Their duties typically include scheduling appointments, greeting patients, managing patient records, handling phone calls, and assisting with billing or insurance paperwork. They serve as the first point of contact for patients and often help ensure that the office runs smoothly. In some practices, they may also assist optometrists with preliminary eye tests or preparing patients for exams.
