Operations Director

The Operations Director will passionately lead operations with a group of highly trained professionals at Chick-fil-A Brunswick. Our current leadership team consists of Directors who work as a team to cover operations from open to close and lead a team of mid level leaders and trainers to execute our Winning Hearts Strategy so that we can serve our guests with excellence and create a continuous improvement environment. They will co lead with the Talent Director to ensure that all employees have the knowledge, tools, and training to effectively execute their role in the HEART and SERVE Models. They will ensure that we seek out opportunities to acquire new talent and provide a professional and remarkable experience for our team members and guests.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Availability for on-site work at our location in Brunswick, GA (70 Golden Isles Plaza)
  • 2 years or more of leadership experience in a management role, in the restaurant industry a plus.
  • Able and willing to work 50 hours per week with a flexible schedule to cover all day parts (open, mid, close) including two nights closing.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, reliability, honesty, communication, attention to detail, coaching mentality with a heart for serving others. Must have high emotional and intellectual intelligence and be coachable, self aware and have a growth mindset.
  • Ability to take initiative and possess skills for problem solving and conflict resolution with guests and team members.

The Operations Director has the responsibility for directing the daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. Accountability, coaching and development of the leadership team. Must be committed to guarding the brand and being responsible for the business to assist in operations or emergencies whenever needed. All roles are hands on in operations overseeing the team directly and creating a coaching environment. During peak hours all hands on deck to maximum throughput and continue to serve our guests with excellence. You will have a team of directors helping to accomplish this goal. Hands on leadership role with 90% of time being spent working alongside, directing or coaching the team and ensuring excellence in operations. Expected to lead in a heads up manner and plug in where needed to prevent bottlenecks. Need the ability to strategically lead and develop others and create and implement strategic systems with built in accountability to manage the business with maximum impact.
