Job description

We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team in Hawley, MN. Our flexible staffing model allows you to choose your schedule, giving you the work-life balance you need while providing excellent patient care. As an integral part of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health through direct patient care and education.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
  • Assess and document patient conditions, collaborating with the dental team for optimal treatment plans.
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Open Dental and other dental software.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
  • Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
  • 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location).
  • Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and company regulations.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems.
  • Valid driver’s license (based on clinic location) and willingness to travel as needed.
