Job description

Programs Coordinator
Road America is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Programs Coordinator to support and execute a variety of motorsports programs and events. This seasonal, full-time role offers a pathway into a long-term career with Road America. The position supports corporate events, Karting Club, Supermoto, Motorplex programming, motorcycle and driving schools, public experiences, and community events, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Candidates with a passion for motorsports are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute corporate events, Motorplex activities, motorcycle/driving schools, and specialty programs
  • Serve as the on-site lead and primary point of contact during events
  • Manage event logistics, scheduling, participant communication, and registrations
  • Recruit, schedule, and oversee seasonal staff while maintaining a safety-first environment
  • Support sponsor relationships and event activations
  • Assist with social media updates, event promotion, and reporting
Required Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in event coordination, operations, or program management
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Availability for weekends, evenings, and event-based schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in motorsports, karting, motorcycle programs, or track operations preferred
  • Experience with event operations, recreational programming, or seasonal staff management
  • Familiarity with social media, event promotion, and customer-facing programs
  • Degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required
