Job description

Are you passionate about motorcycles and skilled in keeping them running at their best? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Motorcycle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. If you’re a problem-solver who loves working with engines and ensuring top-notch performance, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain all name brands of motorcycles, including cruisers, sports bikes, dirt bikes, and scooters.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components, including engines, brakes, exhausts, suspension, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Provide accurate and detailed work orders and service reports.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and a neat, well maintained, clean and organized workshop environment.
  • Assist service writers with service recommendations and repair estimates.
  • Understand and follow Federal, State and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest motorcycle technologies and repair techniques.

Physical Demands:

  • Will be exposed to vibration, dust, or other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Service Technician will stand six to eight hours per shift, hoisting and testing equipment as needed.
  • Will use hand and power tools.
  • Will be required to wear uniform at all times.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Requires the use of both hands.
  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift 40 lb. of material.
  • Frequently require the ability to balance and push a 600+ lb. motorcycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a motorcycle mechanic, minimum 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of motorcycle engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Current clean drivers license with motorcycle endorsement.
  • Your own tools is a plus, but we can work with you.
  • Certification is a plus but not required.
  • A passion for motorcycles and riding is essential!
