Precision Craftsmanship: Powersports & E-Bike Mechanic Wanted in SW Washington!

Are you a skilled powersports technician who takes extreme pride in mechanical precision, white-glove tool organization, and maintaining an immaculate shop bay? American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier, high-end powersports and light electric vehicle service facility in the SW Washington / Clark–Cowlitz County border area to hire a dedicated Powersports & E-Bike Mechanic. In this unique, collaborative 2-person shop environment working directly alongside the master owner/operator, you will diagnose, service, rebuild, and upgrade dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, and high-performance e-bikes. All professional tools and shop equipment are 100% provided! If you treat every machine like your own and hold yourself to the highest standards of cleanliness, consistency, and order, let's talk!

Description for Powersports & E-Bike Mechanic:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs/side-by-sides, and modern electric bikes (e-bikes).
  • Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical diagnostics on gas engines, drivetrains, fuel systems, wiring harnesses, lithium battery systems, controllers, and charging circuits.
  • Execute routine preventative maintenance: oil changes, brake rebuilds, tire mounts/balancing, chain/sprocket replacements, and multi-point safety inspections.
  • Rebuild engines, transmissions, clutches, suspension systems, and steering assemblies using precision tools and factory service manuals.
  • Install aftermarket performance components, accessories, custom suspension, and client-requested upgrades.
  • Conduct thorough post-repair inspections and test rides to verify performance, tuning, and rider safety.
  • Maintain meticulous digital and written service logs, parts tracking, and work order documentation.
  • Maintain an immaculate, showroom-quality workspace: clean, sanitize, and reorganize the lift, tools, and workstation between every single build.

Details for Powersports & E-Bike Mechanic:

  • Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate based strictly on depth of experience and mechanical certifications (DOE).
  • Schedule Flexibility:
  • Preferred Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Flexible Options: Open to set shifts such as 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, or Tuesday – Saturday schedules (consistency and reliability are key once set!).
  • Tools: 100% COMPANY PROVIDED! No need to bring your own tool chest.
  • Work Environment: Ultra-clean, organized, low-volume/high-craftsmanship 2-person shop.
  • Location: SW Washington / North Clark County area.
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term career growth.

  • Meticulous Cleanliness & Organization: Absolute dedication to keeping tools sorted, benches spotless, and bike stands completely cleaned before staging the next unit.
  • Diagnostic Ability: Strong understanding of both 2-stroke/4-stroke internal combustion engines and basic DC electrical/battery systems.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Motorcycle endorsement preferred for test rides).
  • Reliability & Trust: Consistent schedule adherence, punctual attendance habits, and professional communication.

Benefits Include:

  • Competitive hourly compensation tailored to your technical skill level.
  • All professional tools and diagnostic equipment supplied on-site.
