Job description

Night-Shift ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

An ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant is a highly skilled healthcare professional who provides direct patient care to critically ill individuals within an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), performing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient stability, all under the supervision of an attending physician; key responsibilities include patient admission, complex medication management, performing procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team, and participating in rapid response situations.

We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a night-shift role. This position offers a competitive base salary with additional moonlighting opportunities, plus a $5,000 retention bonus after the first year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of critical care experience as an NP/PA.
  • Proficient in critical care procedures, including intubations, arterial lines, and central line placement using ultrasound guidance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to perform complex clinical tasks.
