Summary of Essential Functions

The Endpoint Support Technician I provides comprehensive support for all endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related peripherals, ensuring reliable and secure operation across the organization. This role also includes phone support as part of endpoint responsibilities, which may involve setting up and managing organizational phones and softphones. The position requires handling multiple priorities, coordinating technology moves, and working service desk tickets to maintain operational continuity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Install, configure, and maintain endpoint devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices).
    Perform basic application deployment using approved tools, including packaging, installation, updates, and validation of successful rollout.
    Support imaging, patching, and compliance processes.
    Provide phone support as part of endpoint management, including setup and configuration of organizational phones and softphones.
    Work service desk tickets, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly, and escalating to other teams when necessary to ensure timely resolution and SLA compliance.
    Coordinate technology moves, ensuring endpoints are relocated and configured correctly for operational continuity.
    Participate in refresh cycles to maintain up-to-date endpoint hardware.
    Support print services as part of endpoint management.
    Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and implement projects.
    Document work performed and maintain accurate asset records.
    Assist in implementing endpoint-related projects under the direction of the manager.

Educational Requirements
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
    College coursework or certifications in IT preferred (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ Microsoft Endpoint Manager, ITIL).

Physical Requirements
    Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
    Frequent standing, walking, and bending during equipment installation and troubleshooting.
    Ability to work in various environments including office and clinical settings.

Skills and Qualifications
    2+ years of experience in PC or endpoint support.
    Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
    Familiarity with phone setup and basic networking.
    Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with other teams.
