Xpressdocs is looking for Desktop Support Technician. In this role you will work as part of a team of IT professionals who provide in-house technical PC hardware and software support for our associates and manufacturing operations. You will respond to user issues, troubleshoot the problem, and take the necessary course of action to resolve it. This will provide you with the opportunity work with a variety of equipment and issues including Linux/Windows servers, desktops, laptops, network connectivity and software issues. This is a great opportunity for those looking for a long-term career in the field of information technology.

In this position, you will:

  • Interact with the ticketing system.
  • Respond to user request to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and take the necessary course of action to resolve them.
  • Track hardware inventory and software license tracking/usage.
  • Develop and contribute to system documentation, installation and configuration procedures, and general system standards.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 2-year IT degree or technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred.
  • Experience working with PC hardware – desktop workstations, laptops, and associated peripherals such as multi-monitor setups, and docking stations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365 cloud apps and services to include but not limited to Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with IP network protocols, wired, and wireless network devices will be a plus.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Independent, self-starter with strong work ethic, team player, innovative, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire for a long-term career in the field of Information Technology.
