About Our Family
We're a warm, joyful, and busy family of five in a full and rewarding season of life. Between two full-time careers, three active school-aged children (ages 10,12 and 15), and a lovable, family dog, our days are rarely quiet-but we wouldn't have it any other way. Our home is filled with laughter, movement, after-school activities, sports, family dinners, and the everyday moments that make this season so special.
We're intentional about creating a home that feels welcoming, supportive, and connected. We value kindness, teamwork, and raising capable, confident children who are learning responsibility and independence through everyday life. We believe a home functions best when everyone contributes, and we're looking for someone who can help reinforce those values while providing steady support behind the scenes.
We also know we can't do it all ourselves. Between demanding work schedules, frequent travel, and the logistics of family life, we've reached a point where we're looking for more than an extra set of hands-we're hoping to find a true household partner. Someone who naturally notices what needs attention, creates systems that make life run more smoothly, and takes genuine pride in caring for a home with consistency and heart.
Above all, we're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted, long-term part of our family's support system. Someone who brings warmth, initiative, good judgment, and a calm presence into our home and ready to manage the rhythm of everyday life: keeping laundry moving, preparing nourishing meals, staying ahead of household needs, helping the kids build independence, and creating the kind of organization that allows our family to slow down and fully enjoy each other.
Our 5-year-old Bernedoodle completes our family. He's incredibly sweet and always ready for a treat or a walk, full of personality, always ready for an adventure, and rarely far from wherever the family is gathered. If you're someone who genuinely enjoys dogs, you'll quickly understand why she's such a beloved member of our family.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You're the kind of person who naturally makes life easier. You notice what needs to be done, take initiative without waiting for direction, and genuinely enjoy creating the systems and routines that help a busy family feel supported. Organized, dependable, and adaptable, you're equally comfortable managing household responsibilities, preparing nourishing meals, helping with after-school routines, or simply stepping in wherever you're needed most.
More than anything, you're a loving, caring person. You genuinely enjoy being around children and understand that some of the most meaningful moments happen in the little things-helping with homework, chatting about their day while folding laundry, or inviting them into the kitchen to stir a pot or chop vegetables alongside you. You know how to encourage independence while making everyday tasks feel fun, and you'd be excited to nurture our youngest's love of cooking by letting him lend a hand whenever it makes sense. You also adore animals and will happily shower our sweet Bernedoodle with love and attention. You take pride in following through, thinking a few steps ahead, and caring for a home as though it were your own. You're resourceful, communicate openly, and enjoy finding solutions rather than waiting for direction. No task feels beneath you because you understand that it's the collection of small, thoughtful details that creates a home where everyone feels cared for, supported, and able to thrive.
Above all, you're looking for more than a job. You're hoping to become a trusted, long-term part of a family's life-someone they can rely on completely, who leads with kindness, brings a calm and loving presence into the home, and finds genuine fulfillment in helping a family feel more connected, organized, and able to enjoy this season of life together.
