DLR Group has an opening for a Landscape Designer.
Location: Overland Park, KS
Position Summary
As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for developing creative, sustainable, and functional site and landscape designs for our diverse group of clients across the United States. As part of our integrated design teams, you will design and create sites integral with the architecture with the goal of elevating the human experience through design.
The successful candidate will:
  • Experience in managing workflow and projects
  • Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design process.
  • Create and coordinate documents using Autodesk's CAD software.
  • Prepare planning and design solutions for sustainable project development and assist through all stages of the design process.
  • Develop site and landscape related specifications.
  • Review of Shop Drawings.
  • Conduct site visits.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 0-5 years of professional experience.
  • Licensed Landscape Architect or currently in the process of completing the L.A.R.E.
  • Goal oriented with strong skills in problem solving, graphic communication, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and interest in designing sustainable sites, landscape, and irrigation design.
  • Project management and construction experience.
  • Site Master Planning experience.
  • Experience with BIM or Autodesk Civil 3D project development and workflow.
  • Knowledge of LandFx, ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
