Job description

We are looking to hire two people in this role.


Summary


The Handwork Assistant is responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing print materials and promotional items into complete kits according to client specifications. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Shift

2:00 PM to 11:30; M - F


Core Responsibilities

  • Assemble various printed materials and promotional items into kits following detailed work orders and specifications.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure kit contents match requirements and meet quality standards.
  • Count, sort, and organize printed materials and components for kitting projects.
  • Package completed kits using appropriate materials (boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, etc.).
  • Apply labels, stickers, and shipping information accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Track inventory of kitting supplies and materials.
  • Report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Assist with bulk mailings and special packaging projects as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor(s).

Education & Certification/Licensing Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
