Job description

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Training

  • Train beneficiaries on Kitchen Safety and Compliance protocols
  • Supervise daily work therapy performance, including cooking and cleaning
  • Provide regular feedback and direction to beneficiaries
  • Ensure compliance with Health Department policies

Menu & Inventory Management

  • Create and update menus using Cycle Menu Management System
  • Maximize use of donated goods
  • Maintain kitchen and canteen inventories
  • Generate timely orders based on stock, cost, and needs
  • Source and coordinate food donations

Operations Management

  • Monitor canteen sales and card tracking
  • Maintain kitchen log communications
  • Execute Health Department policies
  • Prepare for regular inspections
  • Coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on all operations

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ServSafeand Allergen training certifications required
  • Kitchen management experience preferred
