Job description

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Inside Sales Inventory specialist to join our team in a Contract to permanent role. This position supports a small group of outside sales representatives by coordinating order activity, monitoring inventory accuracy, and helping ensure materials move to customers on schedule. The ideal candidate brings a strong analytical mindset, confidence working with detailed documentation, and the ability to identify small but important product specification differences that impact fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily order processing for coil products and ensure customer requests are entered accurately and completed on time.
• Work closely with a select group of outside sales representatives to support quotes, order details, and shipment follow-through.
• Arrange material movement and shipping activities to help deliver products according to customer requirements and deadlines.
• Review inventory records and perform reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate stock information and resolve discrepancies.
• Examine product specifications carefully, including minor measurement differences, to prevent processing or fulfillment errors.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain detailed paperwork and transactional records related to orders, inventory, and logistics.
• Communicate with internal teams to confirm processing instructions, product availability, and shipment status.
• Assist with administrative and clerical activities that support inside sales, inventory control, and operational accuracy.• Associate degree in Accounting or a higher level of education is required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize small variances in product measurements and specifications.
• Experience with order processing, inventory reconciliation, logistics coordination, or similar operational support work.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of documentation with accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and internal operations staff.
• Proficiency with ERP systems or related business software used for inventory, order entry, or financial tracking.
• Background in auditing, clerical support, or administrative recordkeeping is preferred.
