Job Summary
The Lab School Coach is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the program in accordance with Laboratory Schools and IHSA/IESA policies.
The coach is expected to carry out the School's responsibility in contributing to the educational development of the student through their work with the activity. The coach teaches important skills relevant to the activity, promotes teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship and leadership in a supportive environment that fosters personal growth.
Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$500.00 - $2,500.00
Additional Information
Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan.
Required Qualifications
Must either hold a valid teaching/substitute certificate or pass the Coaching Essentials Course offered by the IESA/IHSA
Preferred Qualifications
CPR/AED Certified
Work Hours
Much of the work occurs after 3:00 p.m. and on weekends in and around schools.
