Administrative Assistant – HR

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Location: Onsite
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant – HR to support daily administrative and human resources functions. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to handle confidential employee information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and office management team
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR files
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance, and weekly timesheet reconciliation
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates regarding interview details
  • Assist with job postings, recruiting coordination, and candidate follow-up
  • Prepare new-hire paperwork and onboarding materials
  • Assist employees with basic HR questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR representative
  • Support benefits administration and employee documentation
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in HR/ATS systems
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other HR documents
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Assist with office supplies, filing, scanning, and general administrative duties
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Professional and customer-service-oriented approach
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with an HRIS, ATS, or payroll/timekeeping system is a plus
