Location: Bethel, AK

Pay Rate: $ 1800 To $ 1942/Week

Schedule: Varies shifts

Housing: Shared housing provided

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer for a 26-week contract opportunity. The Sonographer will perform imaging examinations on patients ranging from newborn through geriatric while contributing to the efficient operation of the department and ensuring quality, continuity, and excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound imaging examinations on patients from newborn through geriatric populations.

  • Provide quality patient care while ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic imaging procedures.

  • Operate ultrasound equipment and perform imaging according to departmental standards.

  • Assist with receptionist, clerical, or other departmental duties as needed.

  • Support the efficient operation of the department while maintaining continuity of patient care.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent preferred; current ARDMS registration may be accepted in lieu of accredited graduation.

  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduation Sonographer experience required.

  • Current ARDMS (Abdomen or OB/GYN) or equivalent certification required; multiple specialties preferred.

  • Current BLS,BCLS certification required.

  • GE ultrasound and Trophon experience preferred.
