Job description

The Game and Event Worker will assist in a variety of roles to ensure that the athletic contest are carried out correctly and efficiently. The specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the Athletic Director for High School sports and the Principal or the designated athletics designee for Middle School Sports.
As a Game and Event Worker you must be:

  • Available to work on a part time, as needed basis with short notice of assignemnts
  • Be able to work a variety of extracuricular events and a variety of jobs including but not limited to:

Successful candidate will ideally show many of the following skills and abilities:





















  • Ability to consistently issue correct change in a quick and efficient manner when applicable
  • Ability to responsibly handle cash, checks and credit card receipts
  • Ability to count and record cash/checks/credit card receipts at the end of district function
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of revenues, receipts, credit card numbers and any other personal information obtained during the course of a district event.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies, District Policies, building and department procedures.
  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with all people, including those from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.
  • Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
  • Ability to work electronic game equipment and/or record game statistics when applicable.


Must be a minimum of 16 years old and experience in cash handling and public contact preferred.
$20/hour
$39.50 fingerprinting fee due upon being selected
