Support/Hourly - Position - Temporary

ROLE AND PURPOSE:
This role will assist the Athletics Department with the Athletic Games. Roles may vary.
Ticket Worker
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with selling and validating digital and/or cash tickets.
  • Monitor district entrance policies for athletic events.
  • Provide customer service and enforce entry protocols.

Requirements:
  • Basic technology skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Indoor and outdoor availability.
  • Must arrive 30-60 minutes prior to event and stay until released by the game administrator.

Athletic Event Book/Libero Worker
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the official scorekeeper for volleyball, basketball, baseball, or softball.
  • Work closely with game officials to maintain the official game record.

Requirements:
  • Sport-specific scorekeeping knowledge.
  • Must arrive 30 minutes prior to event.

Scoreboard/Clock Worker
Responsibilities:
  • Operate the scoreboard and game clock for football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, or softball.

Field Monitor (Varsity Football Only)
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor sidelines, locker rooms, and assigned areas for access and safety.
  • Provide guidance to teams, officials, and authorized personnel.

Requirements:
  • Assertiveness and attention to detail.
  • Must arrive 1 hour prior to game.

Parking Lot Monitor
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise assigned parking areas for workers, officials, teams, and buses.
  • Assist with traffic flow and parking logistics.

Requirements:
  • Dependability and visibility.
  • Must arrive 2 hours prior to game.

Event Manager (Varsity Football & Playoff Basketball/Volleyball Only)
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of event operations, including:
    • Coordination with security and custodial teams
    • Liaison with athletic departments and campus administration
    • Worker supervision
    • Spectator management and safety
    • Maintenance and logistics support

Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Broad understanding of athletic event operations.
  • Presence throughout the entire event duration.
