Description:
The Eastern Lebanon County School District is now accepting applications for a passionate and experienced Assistant Football Coach to help lead and grow our program. This position provides the opportunity to mentor student-athletes, build a competitive program, and promote football within the school and community.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and implementing effective training programs and football game strategies; Assisting with practices, games, and team activities for the football program; Supporting the development of a comprehensive football program; Building a positive and competitive team culture rooted in sportsmanship and hard work; Serving as an ambassador for the sport; promoting football within the school and community; Ensuring compliance with PIAA, Lancaster-Lebanon League, and ELCO School District policies; Participating in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven coaching experience (club, head, or assistant); Ability to motivate and develop student-athletes both on and off the field; Strong understanding of football strategy and program management; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Commitment to fostering teamwork, discipline, and growth.
Licensing Requirements:
- PIAA Coaching Course requirements, including the Fundamentals of Coaching and First-Aid, Health and Safety; NFHS Concussion and Cardiac Awareness courses.
Clearances:
  • All required clearances must be compliant with the Pennsylvania Department of Education's mandated criteria for hire, including:
    • Current Act 34, 151, and 144
