Are you an exemplary accounting and finance professional with a proven track record of success? Do you possess a Bachelor's in Accounting with comprehensive knowledge of full-cycle property accounting processes and Yardi Voyager? We're seeking a skilled Controller to oversee our commercial real estate portfolio and department.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage staff of 3.
  • Monitor and enforce strict due dates and deadlines.
  • Manage high volume AP/AR, general ledgers, bank reconciliation, balance sheets, and financial statements.
  • Produce high quality monthly reporting for clients
  • Communicate with client throughout cycle as needed.
  • Ensure seamless month/quarterly/annual closes for multi-entity accounting operations.
  • Produce annual property budgets.
  • Produce annual CAM Reconciliations.
  • Regular internal audits.
  • Implement robust internal controls while providing insightful accounting analyses.
  • Utilize Yardi Voyager to maximize efficiency and accuracy in property accounting.
Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Commercial Property Accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Yardi Voyager with superior Excel skills.
  • Smaller company experience working hands-on while overseeing a full staff.
