IMMEDIATE TEMP FILE CLERK
Location: Smyrna, GA 30082 (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)

Our client in the healthcare sector is seeking an Ongoing TEMP File Clerk to support daily administrative operations and maintain accurate, organized records in a fast-paced office environment. This role is essential to ensuring efficient document management, supporting internal departments, and maintaining compliance with company procedures. The assignment is temporary with no set end date and may be extended based on business needs.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced with Adobe software, with the ability to manage high volumes of documentation and administrative tasks efficiently in an in-office setting.
Responsibilities - Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality
- Scan, upload, rename, and archive documents using Adobe Acrobat and other Adobe software tools
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting before filing or distribution
- Retrieve and distribute records, files, and correspondence upon request from internal departments
- Support daily mail operations, including sorting, distributing, and preparing outgoing mail
- Assist with data entry, document tracking, and records management projects
- Prepare, edit, combine, and convert PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ensure compliance with company document retention policies and healthcare confidentiality standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support administrative and operational workflows
- Assist with office organization, inventory tracking, and general clerical support as needed
- Maintain organized digital records and assist with file audits to ensure documentation accuracy
- Support leadership and administrative teams with document preparation and reporting tasks
Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of file clerk, records management, or administrative support experience; healthcare experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- MUST have strong expertise with Adobe software, especially Adobe Acrobat Pro for document editing, formatting, merging, and file management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment
- Reliable, proactive, and collaborative team player
