Position Summary...What you'll do...Associate Designer, Fashion- Women's Fashion (Cut & Sew Knits) Relocation Required to NYC. This position is onsite 5 days a week. Do you have a passion for elevated, fashion-forward women’s apparel? Join Walmart as an Associate Designer of Cut & Sew Knits and play a key role in bringing our Women’s Private OPP Brand vision to life. In this position, you’ll contribute to the design and development of polished, trend-right collections that resonate with and inspire our customers.

The Walmart Design team creates experiences and designs the websites, tools, and mobile solutions for millions of customers and associates. As a part of the Product Design team that is at the forefront of retail, you will be responsible for building best-in-class experiences that drive continuous improvement and innovation on the world’s largest company. What you'll do:
  • Help design and develop seasonal collections for Women’s Private OPP Brands from concept to final product.
  • Research fashion trends and market inspiration to create mood boards and design concepts.
  • Assist with Miro Boards, Raspberry AI, sketches, fabric selection, sample prep, and fittings to bring new ideas to life.
  • Work with our cross functional team members : design, merchandising, product development, technical design, and quality assurance teams to ensure products align with brand vision and customer needs.
  • Support presentations, line reviews, and key milestone meetings.
  • Keep design files, samples, and development documents organized throughout the process.
  • Communicate daily with our supplier / vendor partners to ensure alignment throughout the seasonal development process.

What you'll bring:
  • Have a strong sense of women’s fashion trends and an eye for elevated design
  • Bring creativity, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Are skilled in Miro, Raspberry AI, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, PLM - Centric and Miro experience is a plus.
  • Have 2+ years of fashion design experience, ideally in women’s apparel or contemporary fashion
  • Possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while following direction and guidance.

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
