Post Event Manager
State Farm Arena
PAY RATE: $60,000
Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is looking for an experienced Post Event Manager for our Sports and Entertainment venue, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. This role will report to the Site Manager and handles overseeing cleaning/janitorial duties and staff.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Post Event Manager handles all administrative responsibilities for the Event Shift. To ensure the arena is cleaned after each event and ensure maximum service and quality standards are achieved.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Post Event Manager reports to the Site Manager and receives his/her work assignments from same.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
  • Organize, plan, schedule and execute cleaning operations for the Post Event Shift.
  • Decide how staff should be deployed and ensures all equipment is set up prior to staff report time.
  • Ensure all supplies, equipment and labor are available to complete assigned tasks.
  • Check-in staff, completes deployment sheets and assigns staff to assure proper coverage of facility.
  • Assigns radios, keys and equipment and completes sign in/out sheet.
  • Provides employee training and communicates company/client policies and procedures.
  • Conducts walk-thru inspections of facility throughout length of shift to assure that work is completed properly and within budgeted hours.
  • Will assist with completion of work assignments as needed.
  • Makes decisions as to when to release staff when work is completed.
  • Inspects entire facility and completes post-event checklist to assure all areas are properly cleaned.
  • Responds to the service requests of the client.
  • Completes labor reports from sign in to hours pulled.
  • Complete post event tracking form to ensure budget.
  • Ensure that supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Reports all accidents, injuries, incidents, safety, and maintenance concerns immediately.
  • Stays on site until relieved by Daycore Manager or Site Manager as necessary.
  • Assists Managers with daytime or project operations on non-events days.
  • Completes all other duties and service requests assigned by Site Manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
  • Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
  • Reliable Transportation.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Management or supervisory experience.
  • Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)
