Looking for a flexible nursing opportunity that allows you to make a meaningful difference in a child's life? Maxim Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in DeKalb, Illinois.

This homecare position focuses on G-tube care in a low-acuity setting. Comprehensive paid training and ongoing clinical support are provided, making this a great opportunity to build your skills while delivering exceptional patient care.

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Caregivers Available Shifts

Overnight Opportunities

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday overnights; 7PM-7AM

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Initiate and follow the established plan of care, requesting revisions as patient needs change
  • Provide therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing interventions
  • Monitor patient condition and communicate significant changes to the physician or supervisor
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments while documenting patient response
  • Support patient and family education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning as appropriate
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
  • Current Health Certificate (per state regulations or contract requirements)
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year of RN experience preferred
