About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Rockford, Illinois. This Float Pool position provides nursing care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Medical-Surgical units. The ideal candidate has strong critical care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the flexibility to work in multiple acute care settings while delivering exceptional patient care.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med-Surg units.
Perform patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC while following patient safety and quality care standards.
Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU and Cardiac nursing experience required.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Ability to float between ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, and Med-Surg units.
