Hospital Registered Nurse

The Hospital Registered Nurse at Bibb Medical Center plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or managing acute medical conditions. This position requires the nurse to assess patient health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress to ensure optimal recovery outcomes. The nurse collaborates closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate treatments, administer medications, and provide patient education. A key outcome of this role is to promote patient safety, comfort, and well-being while facilitating efficient hospital operations. Ultimately, the Med-Surg RN contributes to improving patient satisfaction and clinical results through compassionate, evidence-based nursing practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related acute care setting.
