St. Nicholas Catholic School is a Preschool through 8th grade Catholic school residing on the grounds of, and in full partnership with, the Saint Nicholas Parish community. CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Hourly
WORK SCHEDULE: 29 hours per week

Position Summary
The Co-Director of Development and Communications plays a key role in fostering strong communication, engagement, and community support throughout the school and parish. This individual will coordinate school communications, assist with development and fundraising efforts, support office operations, and help promote school events and initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, welcoming, creative, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities Include
  • Coordinating school communications, newsletters, announcements, and promotional materials
  • Managing and updating digital platforms, including social media, website content, and parent communication systems
  • Supporting development and advancement initiatives, including fundraising campaigns and community partnerships
  • Assisting with event planning, promotion, and volunteer coordination for school and parish activities
  • Providing front office and administrative support, including parent relations and student services
  • Collaborating with school leadership, parish staff, PTO, and volunteers to strengthen community engagement
