Abacus Early Learning Centers are a private, family-owned business that has been providing top quality childcare for over 35 years. Our purpose is to be a trusted partner in raising great kids! Our centers are Paths to Quality Level 4 and NECPA Accredited. Our staff are professionals who serve our families with meaningful, honest, and genuine passion. We have four locations and serve ages 6 weeks through 12 years.

Abacus Early Learning Center- Indianapolis is looking to find a reliable, trustworthy person to fill our Assistant Director position.


Assistant Director Responsibilities:

  • 42 Minimum Hours a week
  • Follow all State Regulations and Abacus Policies
  • Aid Director in daily center duties
  • Oversee day to day operations
  • Supervise and help assist teachers and staff
  • Communicate with parents directly
  • Help maintain paperwork and records
  • Help teachers implement curriculum and lesson plans
  • Oversee the center in the absence of the Director

Assistant Director Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least fifteen credit hours in Child Development
  • Meet all State of Indiana requirements

Assistant Director Preferred Qualifications:
