Our Water /Wastewater Practice is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of a Water Wastewater Engineer II to work in our Newport or Medford, Oregon office on various water and wastewater projects providing planning, design, permitting and operations related consulting services. Projects may also include site development and general civil engineering infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist engineers with a variety of water and wastewater system design and study assignments.
  • Conduct field investigations to gather data necessary for engineering analyses and project development.
  • Research regulatory and permitting requirements to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Prepare permit applications with accurate, complete technical and environmental information.
  • Support design efforts for linear infrastructure and water/wastewater facility projects.
  • Research and evaluate engineering processes, technologies, and equipment options to inform project solutions.
  • Assist with the preparation of technical studies and detailed engineering reports.
  • Assist with the development of project specifications to support procurement and construction activities.
  • Perform financial analyses and cost estimating to support project planning and budgeting.
  • Interface with clients, regulatory officials, and contractors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Attend client or public meetings when requested to support project communication and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Hold a B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, or a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in water and wastewater systems.
  • Possess an EngineerinTraining (E.I.T.) certification; Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure is a plus.
  • Have 2-5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering. Prior water and wastewater project experience is highly preferred.
  • Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiently to support design and drafting requirements.

Salary Range:

70,000-85,000
