Event Coordinator
Yaya’s on Belleview is looking for a motivated, self-starting Event Coordinator to manage and grow our private events and large-party business.
This is a hands-on role responsible for taking events from the initial inquiry through execution, while providing an exceptional experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to event inquiries and actively follow up with prospective clients
  • Coordinate events from start to finish, including proposals, menus, timelines, and day-of details
  • Build relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Promote Yaya’s as an event destination and seek out new event opportunities
  • Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure events run smoothly
  • Be involved in events as needed and ensure everything meets Yaya’s standards
Qualifications
  • Restaurant, hospitality, event planning, or sales experience required - 5+ years
  • Motivated, proactive self-starter who takes ownership
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-service focused
  • Ability to manage multiple events and details at once
Compensation: $30-35/hour, based on experience, plus commission on event revenue generated.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, personable, and driven to grow the events business while creating an excellent experience for our guests.
