Facilities Services is looking for an Assistant Systems and Database Manager that is proficient in MS SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle, and programming. Please note: This is an on-campus position based at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Remote work arrangements are not available for this role.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other related field and two years experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
An unrestricted Alaska driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving criteria is required.
This position requires coursework or production experience in MS SQL Server, database management, and programming. Other database types helpful.
This position requires coursework or production experience in Drafting Technology with an emphasis on architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drafting.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . This is an on-campus position based at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Remote work arrangements are not available for this role. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 79, based on education and experience.
