Our client, a mission-based organization, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join their team.

What you will be tasked with a Controller:

  • Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this Controller role will oversee day-to-day finance operations (general ledger, AP, payroll, investment reconciliation
  • Monthly close and reporting, management update presentations, annual close, annual audits and 990s.
  • Partner with VP Programs on detailed budget reviews.
  • Liaise with investment partners, banks, and leadership.
  • Prepare reports and updates for board and leadership.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications of the Controller

  • BS Accounting/Finance. CPA/MBA Is a plus
  • 5+ years general Accounting and financial management experience within a non-profit organization.
