Responsibilities and Duties: 

The Assistant Controller is responsible for a wide range of duties in support of the Controller to include: 

  • Managing the monthly close process and maintaining all support and workpapers

  • Working with Sales Operations to ensure appropriate GAAP accounting for deals 

  • Technical accounting research 

  • Managing sales taxes through our Avalara system 

  • Assist the Controller on payroll and commission inputs and calculations 

  • Weekly cash management and monthly cash balance reconciliation 

  • Oversight of customer invoicing and collections processes 

  • Assistance with income tax remittances and accounting 

  • Monthly variance reviews in connection with the month end close 

  • Annual audit coordination assistance and documentation gathering 

  • Ad hoc projects when needed. 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required. 

  • 4+ years of experience in accounting. 

  • Public Accounting experience is required. 

  • CPA designation is a plus. 

Required Skills: 

  • Strong organizational skills. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
