Job description

Construction Administrator
Sineath Construction
Weaverville, NC | Full-Time | In-Office

About Sineath Construction
Sineath Construction is a third-generation builder serving the greater Asheville area. We specialize in custom homes, remodeling and additions, and commercial construction, with a reputation built on craftsmanship, attention to detail, transparency, and strong client relationships.
Our team takes a collaborative approach to every project, combining detailed planning with hands-on expertise to create spaces built to last. As we continue to grow and strengthen our operations, we are looking for someone who can help bring greater structure, consistency, and follow-through to the systems that support our work.
The Opportunity
Sineath Construction is looking for a highly organized Construction Administrator to help strengthen the systems, processes, and workflows that support our projects from estimating through completion.
This role reports directly to our Operations Manager. The Construction Administrator will take greater ownership of the processes and systems that keep work moving.
We are looking for someone who understands construction workflows, enjoys solving operational problems, and has a strong ability to take a process from concept through implementation and completion.
What You'll Do
As our Construction Administrator, you will help close gaps between estimating, scheduling, and project execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinate administrative processes that support projects from estimating through completion
  • Assist with change orders, permits, project documentation, schedules, and other construction-related administrative tasks
  • Support and maintain workflows used by the Pricing & Estimating team and other project stakeholders
  • Help ensure estimating information, project documentation, and schedules are organized and accessible
  • Develop, document, implement, and improve repeatable processes and standard operating procedures
  • Identify gaps in workflows and help create practical solutions
  • Follow processes through to completion and ensure important handoffs and tasks are not left unfinished
  • Work with construction software and internal systems to improve consistency and visibility across projects
  • Explore and implement appropriate AI and automation tools when they can improve efficiency or reduce repetitive work
  • Support the Operations Manager with systems management and process implementation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure information moves smoothly from preconstruction into active project management and project completion
What We're Looking For
You are someone who naturally brings organization and structure to complex work. You are comfortable managing details, coordinating multiple priorities, and improving processes rather than simply working around inefficiencies.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, construction project management, architectural or design project management, product engineering, or a related role
  • Working knowledge of construction processes and project workflows
  • Experience with construction-related administrative tasks, including areas such as change orders, permits, project documentation, scheduling, or estimating support
  • Ability to understand how information and responsibilities move between estimating, operations, and project teams
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through
  • Experience using construction management, estimating, scheduling, or project management software
  • High level of ability using Microsoft Excel, Team, Sharepoint and other Office applications
  • Comfort learning and using new technology, including AI tools when they provide a practical operational benefit
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting residential or commercial construction projects
  • Experience working with pricing and estimating teams
  • Experience creating or improving SOPs, workflows, or internal processes
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or technology tools used to improve operational efficiency
Why This Role Matters
The Construction Administrator will play an important role in strengthening how work moves through Sineath Construction.
Success in this role means creating reliable processes, improving communication between stages of the construction workflow, and making sure important details are carried through from estimating to project completion.
If you have a solid understanding of construction operations, enjoy building better systems, and take pride in bringing order and follow-through to complex processes, we would like to hear from you.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
Benefits
  • Medical Insurance (eligible after 90 days)
  • PTO: 5 days annually (Years 1-2), 10 days annually after Year 2, and 5 Sick Days annually

401(k) after 1 year
  • 100% match on first 3%
  • 50% match on next 2%
  • Up to 4% employer contribution

Sineath Construction is committed to providing a professional and respectful workplace. Qualified applicants will be considered based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
