Position Title: Skilled Nursing CNA
Overview: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports residents with activities of daily living and provides non-medical care to ensure their comfort, safety, and dignity.
  • Assist residents with personal care including hygiene, dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, toileting, positioning, and exercising.
  • Promote resident dignity, respect, and physical safety at all times.
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions and document treatments, procedures, and test results as needed.
  • Safely transfer, transport, and escort residents using appropriate equipment (e.g., gait belts, mechanical lifts).
  • Promptly respond to call lights and resident requests.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly environment, including changing linens and tidying rooms.
  • Monitor and record vital signs.
  • Provide catheter and colostomy care as assigned.
  • Deliver basic skin care, non-diabetic nail care, and perineal care.
  • Apply compression garments, braces, and prosthetics as needed.
  • Keep workstations and equipment clean and sanitary.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities, rehabilitation, and independence-building programs.
  • Attend all required training sessions and in-services, including updates related to regulatory requirements and cultural practices.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, risk management, QAPI initiatives, and safety committees as assigned.
You Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Certified Nurse’s Aide certification in the state of Florida
  • Prior geriatric experience is preferred.
  • Valid CPR Card
