About the Position

A growing private specialty rehabilitation practice in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (Occupational Therapist, CLT) to join our team on a part-time basis.

Our practice focuses on lymphedema therapy, post-surgical swelling, and oncology-related rehabilitation, providing individualized, high-quality care in a supportive private practice environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced therapist who enjoys one-on-one patient care, patient education, and specialty rehabilitation.


Schedule

Flexible scheduling with the following current opportunities:

Wednesdays – Daytime Clinic Hours

The therapist will have access to the clinic to treat patients throughout the day. This is a great option for therapists looking to add a dedicated clinic day.

Evening Clinic Hours – Approximately 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Evening appointments are available for therapists who prefer after-work patient care.

Therapists may choose one or both scheduling options, depending on availability.

Additional hours may become available as patient demand grows.


Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations for lymphedema and related conditions

• Provide Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) including manual lymphatic drainage and compression bandaging

• Educate patients on self-management, compression garments, and long-term care

• Develop individualized treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care


Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist / Physical Therapist / COTA in Maryland

Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) – Required

• Experience treating oncology or post-surgical patients preferred

• Strong patient education and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a specialty clinic setting

Pelvic floor therapy experience is a plus but not required.

Expected Hours
