Job description

About Northside Medical Supply

Northside Medical Supply is a specialty medical retail storefront in Roswell, Georgia, providing orthopedic bracing, compression garments, and a wide range of related medical products to the local community. Whether they're recovering from surgery, living with lymphedema, or rehabbing an injury, our customers deserve attentive service, accurate product knowledge, and a recommendation they can trust. That's what we deliver on every visit.

About the Opportunity

Under new ownership, we're rebuilding the store from the ground up - and we're looking for our first sales hire under the new entity. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a small business that sits inside a larger, growing healthcare organization. Roswell is our newest retail footprint, and the person we hire will be the face of this store on day one.

We're looking for one person who wants to own the customer experience in this store. Someone who's energized by helping a customer walk out with the right brace, the right compression sleeve, and a feeling that they got expert care.

The Reality of the Role

Customers come in for orthopedic bracing (knees, ankles, backs, wrists, etc) and for compression garments for lymphedema, post-surgical recovery, and venous insufficiency. Many of them are in discomfort, some are post-op, some are managing a chronic condition. They need someone who listens, knows the products, takes a measurement properly, and recommends what fits their needs and budget.

We want someone who takes pride in sending every customer home with the right product in hand.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No nights. No weekends. No on-call. We think predictable hours are a meaningful benefit in retail.

Who We're Looking For

  • Retail sales, healthcare front-office, or pharmacy experience (preferred, not required)
  • A genuine interest in being helpful - including with older customers, patients, and caregivers
  • Reliability above all: opens on time, closes on time, takes ownership of the storefront
  • Sales instincts - you'd rather solve a customer's problem than send them to a competitor
  • Comfort with basic technology: POS, inventory tracking, email

Bonus Qualifications

  • DME, orthotics, or compression garment background
  • Pharmacy, medical office, or healthcare retail experience

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly base: $20–$22/hour depending on experience
  • Commission: 3–5% per item sold after surpassing a monthly base sales threshold (specifics confirmed at offer)
  • 40-hour week, M–F, 9–5 - no weekends, no nights
  • Benefits: Eligibility to enroll in company health plan; 2 weeks PTO after 90 days
  • Location: 11040 Crabapple Rd, Ste B, Roswell, GA 30075

Other

  • Background check may be required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
