THE OPPORTUNITY

The Commercial Loan Servicer is responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of a portfolio of commercial loan accounts. This role ensures accurate loan setup, payment processing, and ongoing servicing in compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and loan agreements. The Commercial Loan Servicer partners closely with Client Managers, Portfolio Management, and other internal stakeholders to support loan closings, handle client inquiries, and resolve servicing issues.

This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of commercial lending products, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high level of customer service. The Commercial Loan Servicer plays a critical role in ensuring data integrity, timely processing of transactions, and overall operational efficiency within the loan servicing function. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Receive and process customer loan advance requests.
  • Receive and process customer pay-down requests.
  • Receive and process all transactions related to Specialty Finance Group.
  • Receive and process incoming Fed Wires and process accordingly.
  • Process Warrant fee transactions in loan servicing system and file documents.
  • Process customer loan statements as needed, which includes all activities needed to submit via postal service.
  • Update customer information, such as address, banker, branch, etc. in loan servicing system.
  • Two-touch (approval) transactions in loan servicing system when needed.
  • Perform Daily Wire Settlement at the end of business day.
  • Process GTM (Global Treasury Management) and TF (Trade Finance) requests. Includes the increase/decrease of Ancillary Services as well as the Boarding of new requests and closings of existing facilities in the loan system.
  • Assist customers and client service reps with requests for additional copies of loan invoices.
  • Complete report for loans to be added/removed to the online banking system (BeB).
  • Review loan agreement to board Libor and/or Fixed Rate loan into ACBS.
  • Assist Senior Commercial Loan Servicer with Syndication loans as needed. This includes paying/collecting principal and interest payments as well as sending/receiving the proper notification with the corresponding Banks.
  • Assist Senior Commercial Loan Servicer with Insurance Monitoring, Reports, System Input, Notifications and Customer Service.
  • Service Customer and Insurance Company requests-respond to emails both internal and external.
  • Gather information to request appropriate Insurance documentation to comply with Bank standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and procedures, to meet team goals and objectives.
  • Meet job expectations regarding attendance and punctuality, as determined by manager
  • Follow all established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 2 years of work experience in banking with an emphasis in the loan and credit administration departments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, high production, professional environment
  • Ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills
  • Discretion and judgment to identify when to escalate issues to the appropriate levels within the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to read, comprehend, and retain knowledge concerning Loan Operations procedures
  • Fluency with MSOffice software applications (including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of Fidelity – ACBS loan system
    • Knowledge of bank policies and regulatory requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
